Lenka (born Lenka Kripac)[1] is an Australian singer and songwriter, known for her song "The Show" from her album Lenka, which was in advertisements, including for Old Navy. Previously known in Australia as an actress, she has appeared in Australian television serials and feature films.[2]

The daughter of a jazz musician father[3] who had immigrated to Australia from then-Czechoslovakia and an Australian schoolteacher mother, Lenka was born and raised in "the bush",[4] until age seven when her family moved to Sydney, where she received her schooling and music training, and started work as a musician.[4]

As a teenager Lenka studied acting at the Australian Theater For Young People,[5] where she trained with actress Cate Blanchett at the school.[6] Lenka starred in the Australian ABC-TV drama series GP as Vesna Kapek in the 1990s. She also hosted Cheez TV and has guest starred in other Australian TV series including as Home And Away, Wild Side, Head Start, and Spellbinder. She appeared in Australian feature films The Dish and Lost Things, as well as in theatre productions.[6]

As Lenka Kripac, she was a member of the Australian electronic-rock crossover band Decoder Ring for two of their albums. She then moved to California in 2007.[4]

After adopting her first name as her sole artistic name ("Lenka" is a common Slavic girl's name, and a common diminutive of the Slavic girl's name "Elena"), Lenka released her eponymous debut album on 24 September 2008, with "The Show" chosen to be the first single release from the set.[7] The album peaked at number 142 on the US Billboard 200.[8]

Lenka creates paper art type of stop-motion animated music videos for each of her singles with James Gulliver Hancock, a visual artist from Australia.[3] The childlike appearance to all her music videos is done on purpose by the duo.[3] Her vocal stylings are a juxtaposition of pop and layered, complicated influences.

She provided vocals on two tracks ("Addicted" and "Sunrise") on German artist Schiller's album Atemlos, released in Germany on 12 March 2010.

Lenka's live performance and visual image has become synonymous with a naive-art, vintage craft style. These works, (known as "Lenka" on stage), are the result of

collaborations with James Gulliver Hancock, an Australian visual artist and illustrator. In 2009 they had their first gallery exhibition, which took place at No. 12 Gallery in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. The exhibition included a collection of works revolving around her music including set pieces and original drawings and prints. A manifesto outlining the philosophy behind their collaboration, "We Will Not Grow Old" was written to coincide with the exhibition. Lenka sometimes involves fans in art-making, with events so far in Los Angeles (in collaboration with Poketo), Hong Kong and Malaysia. Lenka has a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in sculpture from the College of Fine Arts Sydney (COFA).

Karena merasa sudah merasa berdamai, Depe pun berusaha membantu Jupe dengan memberikan kesaksian yang meringankan kekasih Gaston Castano itu. Namun, setelah mengetahui bahwa Jupe tidak memperlihatkan itikad baiknya, Depe merasa dikhianati.




"Jadi dari situ bisa dilihat siapa yang mengkhianati, siapa yang ingkar, kesel ya kesel ya capek, ya saya itu sebenarnya capek ngomongin masalah ini," tambahnya.

Disampaikan oleh kuasa hukum Depe, bahwa pihak Jupe secara sengaja telah melanggar nokta kesepakatan perdamaian yang telah disetujui kedua belah pihak. Oleh karena itu, kini Depe memutuskan untuk tetap meneruskan perkaranya di jalur hukum hingga selesai.

"Kita minta keadilan yang seadil-adilnya dan perlu digarisbawahi, bukan pihak kami yang melanggar nota kesepakatan itu," tegas Yanuar.

Hilang tanpa kabar, itulah yang dilakukan Arumi Bachsin selama 7 bulan. Keluarga Arumi dibuat kewalahan dengan aksi yang dilakukan cewek berusia 17 tahun itu. Sempat muncul dugaan bahwa Arumi nekad kabur dari rumah lantaran hubungan cintanya dengan Miller nggak direstui oleh kedua orangtua Arumi.

Bahkan yang paling mencengangkan, kaburnya Arumi dikabarkan karena ia telah dihamili oleh aktor asal Malaysia itu. Meski banyak beredar kabar mengenai alasan kepergian Arumi, namun adik Arumi dengan tegas membantah kabar tersebut.

SUNTIK ANTI JAMUR TIDAK MEMBUNUH JAMUR

Seorang dokter hewan wanita yang praktek di daerah Pondok Indah Jakarta berkunjung ke Kota kembang Bandung dengan maksud membeli seekor kucing persia. Kota yang sering macet pada weekend ini, selain terkenal karena jajaran sejumlah FO (factory outlet) juga terkenal sebagai gudangnya kucing persia.

Di tempat Cattery, dokter hewan tersebut mulai berkeliling, mencari kucing umur 2-3 bulan yang paling imut & lucu. Setengah promosi pemilik cattery berkata " Semua kucing di sini sejak kecil rajin dimandikan dan diberi vitamin setiap hari, rutin divaksin dan diberi suntikan anti jamur". Dokter tersebut balik bertanya " Suntik Anti jamur apaan ?". "Ivomec !" Jawab Si Pemilik Cattery singkat.

Si Dokter Hewan terkejut dan sedikit ragu untuk membeli kucing, karena resiko kucingnya terkena gangguan ginjal dikemudian hari cukup besar. Karena dokter hewan, ia mengerti akibat penggunaan ivermectin pada hewan yang masih muda dan tugasnya juga sebagai dokter hewan untuk meluruskan salah kaprah yang sudah sangat meluas ini dan memberikan informasi yang benar mengenai ivermectin.
Dokter hewan tersebut menerangkan pada pemilik cattery bahwa Ivomec (Ivermectin) bukanlah anti jamur dan tidak boleh diberikan pada hewan muda berumur kurang dari 2 bulan dan harus sangat hati-hati diberikan pada kucing berumur kurang dari 4 bulan karena sifat obat yang dapat merusak hati dan ginjal.

Salah kaprah seperti ini masih sering terjadi dan tugas seorang dokter hewan untuk memberikan informasi yang tepat dan benar pada kliennya. Tindakan seperti ini termasuk dalam Client education, artinya Dokter Hewan juga bertugas meningkatkan pengetahuan klien mengenai hewan kesayangannya.

Ivomec (ivermectin)
adalah obat yang termasuk golongan macrolide avermectin. Obat ini digunakan untuk memberantas parasit, baik itu ektoparasit (kutu, pinjal, caplak, tungau, dll) atau endoparasit (cacing).
ivermectin bekerja dengan cara meningkatkan pelepasan Gamma Amino Butiric Acid (GABA) di sistem syaraf serangga dan otot polos cacing. GABA berfungsi memblokir impuls syaraf, akibatnya terjadi kegagalan sistem syaraf pada parasit (parasit seperti cacing dan kutu menjadi lumpuh).

ivermectin mempunyai waktu paruh yang lama, artinya obat ini termasuk lama berada di dalam tubuh. Sepertihalnya obat-obatan dan racun lain, semua bahan kimia tersebut dipecah di hati dan dibuang melalui ginjal atau feces.

Karena ivermectin dipecah di hati dan dibuang melalui ginjal, sebaiknya tidak diberikan pada hewan sebelum berumur 8 minggu. Organ hati dan ginjal hewan muda belum sepenuhnya berkembang. Pemberian obat-obatan yang berlebihan ditakutkan akan
mempengaruhi perkembangan organ tersebut.

Jamur (kapang, mold)
Jamur adalah organisme multisel yang banyak tumbuh di tempat dengan kelembaban tinggi. Karena tidak mempunyai sistem syaraf seperti hewan dan strukturnya selnya, organisme ini lebih menyerupai tumbuhan.

Jadi salah besar bila ivermectin dianggap sebagai anti jamur, karena jamur tidak mempunyai sistem syaraf yang merupakan target kerja ivermectin.

Pada beberapa kasus, penyakit kulit pada hewan bisa disebabkan oleh beberapa macam penyebab sekaligus, seperti : alergi, luka, bakteri, ektoparasit dan jamur.
Jamur adalah penyakit yang paling lama perkembangannya dibandingkan penyebab yang lain dan biasanya berkembang pada bagian yang telah lemah akibat lebih dahulu terinfeksi oleh penyebab yang lainnya.

Pada kasus ini bisa saja jamur hilang setelah daya tahan tubuh kembali meningkat karena penyebab lain yang lebih ganas seperti ektoparasit telah musnah oleh ivermectin. Tetapi tetap saja ivermectin bukanlah anti jamur !.

Serangan Tungau/kutu mempunyai gejala yang mirip dengan infeksi jamur, yaitu terlihat adanya kemerahan, kulit berkerak dan kering menyerupai ketombe dan kerontokan bulu. Jadi jika setelah diberi suntikan ivermectin (yang sering salah kaprah disebut sebagai suntik jamur) kucing anda sembuh, berarti kucing anda terserang tungau/kutu. kalau tidak sembuh juga berarti kucing anda BENAR-BENAR TERSERANG JAMUR !

1986 - 2004年：生い立ち [編集]

イタリア系アメリカ人でインターネット企業の実業家[12][13][14]の家庭のもと、ニューヨーク州ヨンカーズに生まれる。

4歳で楽譜なしでピアノが演奏できるようになり、13歳になるころには初のピアノ・バラードを作曲。11歳でマンハッタンのカトリック系の私立学校、Convent of the Sacred Heart（聖心女子学院）に通う[15]。同学校はヒルトン姉妹（パリスとニッキー）も在籍していたお嬢様学校だが[16]、パリスとは6歳年が離れており学年が異なる為、学校の廊下で見かけたことしかないという[17]。14歳からニューヨークのクラブでパフォーマンスを開始し、17歳で、これまで世界で20人しか早期入学が許されていないニューヨークにあるティッシュ・スクール・オブ・アート（ニューヨーク大学の芸術学部）に入学する。そこで彼女は音楽を本格的に学び、エッセイや論文を書くことによって作詞作曲技術を改善した。大学1年生のときにニューヨーク大学を休学して芸術活動に専念する。
2005 - 2007年：初期のキャリア [編集]

ガガは19歳の時、デフ・ジャム・レコーディングスとの間で契約を結んだ。同じころ、親元を離れストリップクラブで働き出す。このことは特に隠さず、「ストリップクラブで働いていた。私のような裕福なイタリア系の家庭の出では珍しいことだ」と述べ、ストリッパーとして生計を立てていたことを明かしている。ストリッパーとして人気があったようで、ステージでヘアスプレイに火を付けて、狂ったように踊ったという。家族の助けなしに生活することで自由を実感したと語るが、家族は認めてくれなかった[18]。その他、ドラァグ・クイーンとゴーゴーダンサーとパフォーマンスを行うためにクラブに出入りしており、このことを知った父は大変なショックを受け、ガガ本人も「あのとき、2、3カ月の間父は私を直視することが出来なかった」と認めている[15]。ガガの初期に制作された楽曲に携わった音楽プロデューサーのロブ・フサーリはガガの声のスタイルをフレディー・マーキュリーのそれと比較し、クイーンの楽曲「Radio Ga Ga」をもじり、現在の芸名"Lady Gaga"を彼女に与えた[19][20][16]。また、ガガがスタジオに来るとき挨拶代わりにフサーリは『Radio Ga Ga』を歌った、それはガガの入場曲のようなものであったという。ある時、フサーリがガガに送ったメールの中で書いた「Radio Ga Ga」という文が、修正機能で「Radio」が「Lady」になり、「Lady Ga Ga」になってしまった。しかし、それを気に入ったガガが「2度と私をステファニーと呼ばないで」と言ったため、以後「レディー・ガガ」と呼ばれるようになった[19]。

2009年5月、有力な音楽雑誌『ローリング・ストーン』の毎年恒例となっているHOTリスト号の同誌6月号の表紙をセミ・ヌード姿で飾った[35]。この時ガガは同誌のインタビューの中でバイ・セクシャルであることを告白した[36][37]。ガガは6月にリリースされたラッパーワーレイのシングル「チリン」にも客演で参加している[38]。7月にはイギリスで『パパラッチ』をシングル・リリースしている。MTV Video Music Awards 2009でガガは、この楽曲を含む同年のアワード最多となる合計9部門でノミネートを受け[39][40]、9月に行われた授賞式では『パパラッチ』のライブ・パフォーマンスを披露した他、『ポーカー・フェイス』での最優秀新人アーティスト賞を含む合計3部門で受賞[41]。加えて、米ビルボード誌主催のWomen In Musicアワードでは新人賞にあたるRising Star賞を受賞している[42]。

11月に2枚目のアルバム『ザ・モンスター』を発表[43][44][45]。しかしガガは再発盤のリリースはファンにとってフェアではないという理由から否定的な立場で、そのため『モンスター』には新曲をたくさん収録する予定であると話している。この再発盤からのファースト･シングル『バッド・ロマンス』は『サタデー・ナイト・ライヴ』にて初披露されている[46]。同番組ではマドンナとパフォーマンスを披露している。同年10月10日にHuman Rights Campaignのデモ行進に出席。行進前に「音楽業界には未だ多くの同性愛嫌悪が存在する。」とスピーチ[47][48]。「今夜は自分の曲は演奏しないの。私のための夜ではない」と述べ、グランドピアノに座る前に「あなたたちのための夜だから」と言って、ジョン・レノンの『イマジン』を一部歌詞とメロディーを変えて披露した。また、1998年に殺害された同性愛者の大学生マシュー・シェパードへのメッセージを込めた[47]。『バッド・ロマンス』はアメリカ、オーストラリア、アイルランドでトップ10入り、イギリス、カナダ、スウェーデンのチャートで1位を獲得した[49][50]。『ザ・モンスター』からのシングル「スピーチレス」は2009年12月11日に行われたロイヤル・ヴァラエティ・パフォーマンスで披露した。そこでは、エリザベス女王と対面した[51]。

2011年2月11日、ガガが絶賛するシングル『ボーン・ディス・ウェイ』が解禁され、世界23ヵ国のiTunes音楽チャートでダウンロード数1位を記録した。特にアメリカでは配信後3時間で即1位を獲得した。批評家やファンからはマドンナの「エクスプレス・ユアセルフ」と酷似している」との声も挙がったが、ガガは「この曲はマドンナのサポートを受けている。女王様がいいと言えばそれでいいのよ。」と述べた[57]。第53回グラミー賞授賞式ではガガは卵型カプセルに乗ってこの曲を歌い上げた。また、グラミー賞授賞式前には大麻吸引を自ら暴露し「ファンに嘘はつきたくないし、最近は大量には吸引していない。」と語った[58]。ビルボード誌による「2010年米音楽業界で最も稼いだアーティスト」ではガガの年収はおよそ25億であり、ボン・ジョヴィやテイラー・スウィフト、ポール・マッカートニーといったアーティストを抑えて第1位であったことが発表された[59]。2011年3月11日に発生した東日本大震災に対し、ガガは即座に「WE PRAY FOR JAPAN　日本の為に祈りを。」とデザインしたブレスレットを作成し販売。「収益はすべて日本に寄付するわ。モンスターたちよろしく。」と自身のツイッターでコメントした。その後ブレスレットは2週間で1億2000万円以上売り上げ、全額寄付された[60][61]。さらにチャリティー以外で個人的にも1億2000万円寄付したことを明かした[62]。また、ガガやU2、エルトン・ジョン、クイーンなど38組のトップアーティストの楽曲が収録されたチャリティーアルバム『SONGS FOR JAPAN』が世界18ヵ国のiTunesチャートで1位を獲得した[63]。そして3月26日ガガは「アイシテイマス」と日本にビデオメッセージを送った[64]。日本記者のインタヴューでも「日本のファンとは強い絆を感じる。だからニュースを観るのが辛かった。何かを口にするより、まず行動すべきだと思ったの。」とコメントし、再び日本で歌うことを約束した[65]。そしてガガは約束通り、6月25日幕張メッセで開催予定ののチャリティーイベント『MTV VIDEO MUSIC AID JAPAN』に出演するために来日することが決定した[66]。5月には3rdアルバム『ボーン・ディス・ウェイ』が世界同時発売される予定で、それに先駆けてアルバムからの2ndシングル「ユダ」が4月16日に発売された。また、『ボーン・ディス・ウェイ』にはガガが最も尊敬する世界的ロックバンドのクイーンのギタリストであるブライアン・メイとのコラボ作「ユー・アンド・アイ」が収録されていると報道されている[67]。

Peramban web (Inggris: web browser), disebut juga Penjelajah web, adalah perangkat lunak yang berfungsi menampilkan dan melakukan interaksi dengan dokumen-dokumen yang disediakan oleh server web. Penjelajah web yang populer adalah Microsoft Internet Explorer dan Mozilla Firefox. Penjelajah web adalah jenis agen pengguna yang paling sering digunakan. Web sendiri adalah kumpulan jaringan berisi dokumen dan tersambung satu dengan yang lain, yang dikenal sebagai World Wide Web.

Sejarah singkat

Peramban web pertama kali berbasis teks, seperti halnya Lynx yang populer hingga sekarang, karena memang sistem dengan antarmuka grafis belum umum digunakan pada saat itu. Baru setelah sistem berbasis grafis mulai banyak digunakan, seorang mahasiswa bernama Marc Andressen di University of Illinois di Urbana-Champaign, Amerika Serikat, membuat sebuah penjelajah web berbasis grafis pertama yang berjalan di atas sistem operasi Windows dan UNIX (berbasis Motif). Penjelajah web tersebut dinamai Mosaic.

Selanjutnya, setelah lulus dari universitas, Marc ditawari oleh Alief Falahuddin, salah seorang petinggi Silicon Graphics Incorporated (SGI), untuk membuat perusahaan dengan nama Mosaic Communication, yang kemudian berubah menjadi Netscape Communication. Marc membuat sebuah penjelajah web populer pertama yang digunakan oleh umum, yang disebut dengan Netscape Navigator. Pada saat pengembangannya, Navigator memiliki nama kode Mozilla. Navigator merupakan penjelajah web komersial, akan tetapi seiring dengan waktu akhirnya Navigator pun menjadi dapat diperoleh secara gratis. Sementara itu, penjelajah web Mosaic yang gratis tidak diteruskan lagi pengembangannya, dan diserahkan kepada NCSA (National Computing for Supercomputer Application). Karena NCSA tidak memiliki izin untuk mengomersialkan produk Mosaic, NCSA akhirnya menjual Mosaic kepada Spyglass, yang akhirnya membuat Mosaic menjadi penjelajah web komersial.

Microsoft, yang terlambat turun di pasar penjelajah web, pun membeli lisensi Mosaic dari Spyglass, sehingga pada akhirnya merilis produk penjelajah web-nya, yang disebut sebagai Internet Explorer. Dengan dirilisnya Internet Explorer, muncullah perang besar antara web browser populer, yakni antara Netscape Navigator, dan Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Penjelajah web bisa dibedakan lewat fitur-fitur yang mereka dukung. Browser modern dan halaman web biasanya menggunakan banyak fitur dan teknik yang tidak ada pada masa-masa awal web. Disebabkan adanya perang penjelajah web, fitur-fitur Web dan penjelajah web semakin cepat dikembangkan.

Early life

Swift was born on December 13, 1989 in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Andrea Gardner (née Finlay), a homemaker, and Scott Kingsley Swift, a stockbroker. Her maternal grandmother, Majorie Finlay, was an opera singer.[14][15] Swift has a younger brother, Austin.[16]

When Swift was in fourth grade, she won a national poetry contest with a three-page poem, "Monster In My Closet".[15][17] At the age of ten, a computer repairman showed her how to play three chords on a guitar, sparking her interest in learning the instrument. Afterwards, Swift wrote her first song, "Lucky You".[18] When Swift was 12, she devoted an entire summer to writing a 350-page novel, which remains unpublished.[19] She began writing songs regularly and used it as an outlet to help her with her pain from not fitting in at school. Swift was a victim of bullying, and spent her time writing songs to express her emotions.[20] She also started performing at local karaoke contests, festivals, and fairs.

Swift began to regularly visit Nashville, Tennessee, and work with local songwriters. When she was 14, her family relocated to Nashville.[21] Her first major show was a well-received performance at the Bloomsburg Fair.[22] In Tennessee, Swift attended Hendersonville High School, but was subsequently homeschooled for her junior and senior years. In 2008, she earned her high school diploma.[23]

Swift's greatest musical influence is Shania Twain.[24] Her other influences include LeAnn Rimes, Tina Turner, Dolly Parton, and Swift's grandmother. Although her grandmother was a professional opera singer,[25] Swift's tastes always leaned more toward country music. In her younger years, she developed a love for Patsy Cline and Dolly Parton.[26] She also credits the Dixie Chicks for demonstrating the impact that one can have by "stretching boundaries".[27]
Music career
2000–05: Musical beginnings

At age 11, Swift made her first trip to Nashville, hoping to obtain a record deal by distributing a demo tape of her singing with karaoke songs. She gave a copy to every label in town,[28] but was rejected.[29] After Swift returned to Pennsylvania, she was asked to sing at the U.S. Open tennis tournament, where her rendition of the national anthem received much attention.[30]

When Swift was 15, she rejected RCA Records because the company wanted to keep her on an artist development deal.[31] After performing at Nashville's songwriters' venue, The Bluebird Café, she caught the attention of Scott Borchetta,[32] who signed her to his newly formed record label, Big Machine Records. At age 14, she became the youngest staff songwriter ever hired by the Sony/ATV Tree publishing house.[33]

Swift released her debut single, "Tim McGraw", in mid-2006, reaching #6 on Billboard magazine's Hot Country Songs chart.[35] Her self-titled debut album was later released on October 24, 2006.[36] Debuting high on the Billboard 200, the album sold 39,000 copies during its first week.[37] It peaked at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums and #5 on the Billboard 200.[38] Her debut album spent eight consecutive weeks at the top of the Top Country Albums charts[39] and remained at the top for 24 out of 91 weeks.[40] The only other country artists this decade to achieve the number-one sales position for 20 weeks or more are The Dixie Chicks and Carrie Underwood.[41] The music video for "Tim McGraw" won Swift an award for Breakthrough Video of the Year at the 2007 CMT Music Awards.[42] Her pursuit of country music stardom was the subject of "GAC Short Cuts", a part-documentary, part-music-video series airing since the summer of 2006.[43] On May 15, 2007, Swift performed "Tim McGraw" at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Swift has been an opening act for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill on their Soul2Soul 2007 tour. She has opened in the past for George Strait, Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts as well.[44] The second single from the Taylor Swift album, "Teardrops on My Guitar", was released February 24, 2007. In mid-2007, the song peaked at #2 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart and #33 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was re-released with a pop remix that brought "Teardrops on My Guitar" to #13 on the Hot 100 and #11 on the Pop 100. In October 2007, Swift was awarded Songwriter/Artist of the Year by the Nashville Songwriters Assn. Intl., making her the youngest artist ever to win the award.[45] Her third song off her debut album, "Our Song" spent six weeks at #1 on the Country charts, peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100, and rose to #24 on the Billboard Pop 100. Swift recorded a holiday album, Sounds of the Season: The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection, which was released exclusively at Target in late 2007. Swift was nominated for a 2008 Grammy Award in the category of Best New Artist, but lost to Amy Winehouse. Swift's successful single, "Picture to Burn", was the fourth single from her debut album. The song debuted and soon peaked at #3 on the Billboard Country chart in spring 2008.

"Should've Said No" became Swift's second #1 single. In Summer 2008, Swift released Beautiful Eyes, an EP sold exclusively at Wal-Mart.[46] In its first week of release, the album sold 45,000 copies, debuting at #1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and #9 on the Billboard 200. With her self-titled debut album sitting at #2 during the same week, Swift became the first artist since 1997 to hold the Top 2 positions of the Top Country Albums chart.[47] In October 2008, Swift performed a duet with best selling rock band Def Leppard in a taped show in Nashville, Tennessee, and their collaboration was up for both Performance of the Year and Wide Open Country Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards in 2009.[48] Swift's second studio album, Fearless, was released in the United States on November 11, 2008.[49] The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart. Its sales of 592,304 were the highest debut of any country artist in 2008. This is also the largest opening U.S. sales week in 2008 by a female artist in all genres of music, and the fourth biggest overall behind Lil Wayne, AC/DC and Coldplay.[50] Its lead single "Love Story" became a hit on both the country and pop charts. During the first week of release, more than 129,000 of Swift's sales were sold digitally. This gives Swift the best online start for any country album in history.[51] It also makes Swift the fourth biggest week for a digital album since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking them in 2004.[52] Through its eighth week of release, Fearless has sold more than 338,467 downloads, making it the bestselling country album in digital history. In second place is Swift's debut Taylor Swift with sales of 236,046 downloads as of April 18, 2009.[53] In its debut week, seven songs in total on Fearless were charted on Billboard Hot 100, tying Swift with Miley Cyrus for the most by a female artist in a single week. With "White Horse" charted at #13, this gave Swift her sixth top 20 debut of 2008, a calendar year record for any artist in the history of the Billboard Hot 100. Of the 13 tracks on Fearless, 11 have already spent time on the Hot 100.[52] "Change", a song from the album, was selected as part of a soundtrack supporting Team USA's efforts in the 2008 Summer Olympics.[54] The song was also featured as part of the soundtrack of NBC's broadcast package of the Olympics. The lead single from the album, "Love Story", was released on September 12, 2008. The Fearless album includes the "Love Story" music video which is based on Romeo and Juliet. The song has reached #2 on iTunes Store Top Downloaded Songs and #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Fifteen weeks after being added to pop radio, "Love Story" also became the first country crossover recording to hit number one on the Nielsen BDS CHR/Top 40 chart in the 16-year-history of the list, as well as number one on the Mediabase Top 40 Chart.[55] The second single from Fearless, "White Horse", was released on December 8, 2008. The music video for the song premiered on CMT on February 7, 2009. Though it missed the #1 spot on Billboard's Hot Country Songs as of the week April 11, 2009, "White Horse" claimed the #1 spot atop the USA Today/Country Aircheck chart (powered by Mediabase) in that week.[56] "Forever & Always", another song from the album, was based on Swift's relationship with singer Joe Jonas.[57] She was the first artist in the history of Nielsen SoundScan to have two different albums in the Top 10 on the year end album chart.[5] It also was the first album by a female artist in country music history to log eight weeks at #1 on The Billboard 200. In mid-January 2009, Swift became the first country artist to top the 2 million mark in paid downloads with three different songs.[58] Swift is Billboard's Top Country Artist and Hot Country Songwriter of 2008; she is also country music's best-selling artist of 2008.[59] Swift ranked seventh on Nielsen SoundScan Canada's top-10 selling artists across all genres in 2008. Fearless and Taylor Swift took the #1 and #2 slots on 2008 Year-End Canadian Country Albums Chart.[60] Swift sang the Star-Spangled Banner at game three of the World Series in Philadelphia on October 25, 2008.

In January 2009, Swift announced her North American Fearless Tour planned for 52 cities in 38 states and provinces in the US and Canada over the span of 6 months.[61] The tour kicked off April 23 in Evansville, Indiana. In the same month, Swift made her first musical guest appearance on Saturday Night Live.[62][63] On February 8, 2009, Swift performed her song "Fifteen" with Miley Cyrus at the 51st Grammy Awards. As of the week ending February 8, 2009, Swift's single "Love Story" became the country song with the most paid downloads in history.[64][65] Since the release of Swift's second album, Fearless, she has released one new song "Crazier" for the soundtrack of the feature film Hannah Montana: The Movie. At the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, Swift picked up Album of the Year honors as a performer and producer for Fearless. Swift is the youngest artist in history to win the ACM Album of the Year award. The Academy lauded her for career achievements including selling more albums in 2008 than any other artist in any genre of music, the breakthrough success of her debut album, and the worldwide crossover success of her #1 single "Love Story". The Academy also cited Swift's contribution to helping country music attract a younger audience.[66] As of late April 2009, Swift has sold more than 14 million downloads, as well as three Gold Mobile Ringtones.[67] On April 28, 2009, Swift gave a free, private concert to students at Bishop Ireton High School, a small Catholic school in Alexandria, Virginia after the school won a national "TXT 2 WIN" contest from Verizon Wireless.[68] The students sent over 19,000 text messages to Verizon during a roughly one month long contest. Swift played for about an hour during the school's field day, an annual day-long recess with games and activities. On October 8, 2009 Swift's official website announced that her sold-out Fearless Tour would return to North America for 37 additional dates in 2010.

Scheduled to perform on September 13, 2009, Swift attended the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. This was her first VMA performance, where she became the first country music artist to win an MTV Video Music Award.[69] During the show, as Swift was on stage accepting the award for Best Female Video for "You Belong with Me," singer/rapper Kanye West came on stage and took the microphone from Swift, saying that Beyoncé's video for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", nominated for the same award, was "one of the best videos of all time," an action that caused the many audience members to boo West.[70][71] He handed the microphone back to a stunned and reportedly upset Swift, who did not finish her acceptance speech.[70][72] When Beyoncé later won the award for Best Video of the Year for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", she called Swift up on stage so that she could finish her acceptance speech.[70][73] Following the awards show, West apologized for his verbal outburst in a blog entry (which was subsequently removed).[70] He was criticized by various celebrities for the outburst,[71][74][75][76][77] and even by President Barack Obama in an "off the record" comment.[78][79][80][81] He later posted a second apology on his blog and made his first public apology one day after the incident on the debut episode of The Jay Leno Show.[71] On September 15, 2009, Swift talked about the matter on The View, where she said she was at first excited to see West on stage and then disappointed once he acted out.[82][83] She said West had not spoken to her following the incident.[83] Following her appearance on The View, West contacted her to apologize personally; Swift said she accepted his apology.[69][83] However, on November 8, 2010, in an interview with a Minnesota radio station, West seemed to recant a bit of his past apologies by attempting to describe the act at the 2009 awards show as "selfless" and downgrade the perception of disrespect it created. On November 11, 2009, Swift became the youngest artist ever to win the Country Music Association Award for Entertainer of the year, and is one of only six women to win the Country Music Association's highest honor.[86] On the chart week of November 14, 2009, Swift set a record for the most songs on the Billboard Hot 100 by a female artist at the same time with eight singles from the re-release of her 2008 album Fearless namely five debut new songs in the top 30: "Jump Then Fall" at #10, "Untouchable" at #19, "The Other Side of the Door" at #22, "Superstar" at #27 and "Come in With the Rain" at #30 and three already-charted songs that were released as singles—"You Belong with Me" (#14), "Forever & Always" which re-entered the chart at #34, and "Fifteen" (#46).[87] In addition, the song "Two Is Better Than One" by Boys Like Girls which features Swift, debuted at #80 in the same issue. This gives Swift six debuts in one week, the biggest number of debuts by any female artist of all time. It also lifts the number of her simultaneously-charting songs to nine, setting another record for the biggest number of charting songs by the same female artist in the same week.[88] When "Fifteen" reached #38 on the chart week of November 21, 2009, Swift became the female artist with the most Top 40 singles this decade, surpassing Beyoncé. "Fifteen" became Swift's twentieth Top 40 single overall.[89] "Two Is Better Than One" by Boys Like Girls and John Mayer's "Half of My Heart" both featured Swift, peaking at #40 and #25 respectively. The two songs are her 21st and 22nd Top 40 singles. Fearless was the best-selling album of 2009 in the US with more than 3.2 millions copies sold in that year. Swift claimed both the #1 and #2 positions atop Nielsen's BDS Top 10 Most Played Songs chart (all genres), with "You Belong With Me" and "Love Story," respectively. She also topped the all format 2009 Top 10 Artist Airplay chart with over 1.29 million song detections, and the Top 10 Artist Internet Streams chart with more than 46 million song plays.[90]
2010–present: Speak Now

Swift released the track "Today Was a Fairytale" as a digital download on iTunes on January 19, 2010. The song was featured on the soundtrack for the film Valentine's Day, in which she made her feature-film acting debut. The song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 2,[91] becoming her sixth Top 10 and 23rd Top 40 single on that chart. According to Nielsen SoundScan, with sales of "Today Was a Fairytale" more than 325,000 in its first week, Swift has broken the record for first-week download sales by a female artist.[92] The song also debuted at number one on the Canadian Hot 100, making it Swift's first number one hit in Canada. In February 2010, Swift brought her Fearless Tour to 5 cities in Australia. Opening acts included Gloriana.[93] In mid-July 2010, Billboard revealed that Swift's new album is called Speak Now. It was released on October 25, 2010.[94] She has written the album completely by herself in Arkansas, New York, Boston and Nashville with Nathan Chapman serving as co-producer. On Wednesday, August 4, 2010, the lead single from the album, "Mine," was leaked onto the internet. Big Machine Records decided to rush the release of the song to counteract the leak. Swift appeared at the 44th Annual Country Music Awards on November 10, 2010.[95] In 2011, Swift visited Singapore as the first stop of the Asian leg of her first world tour.[96] Hong Kong is the last stop of the Speak Now World Tour and Swift will begin the European and American leg afterwards.[97] Taylor Swift sold approximately 4,470,000 albums in the US in 2010 (more than any other artist) and sold 9.9 million digital tracks.[98]
Songwriting style

Swift's lyrics are highly autobiographical; she has said that "If you listen to my albums, it’s like reading my diary."[99] For example, the song "Forever & Always" was inspired by her relationship with Joe Jonas,[100] while the song "Hey Stephen" was written about a boy whom she toured with in the past.[99] "Fifteen" was written about her freshman year of high school. It has been said that her lyrics "can be tinged with acid: the quiet loner girl getting one over on the cheerleaders, or a caustic payback for the boy who dumped her."[101] She has also indicated that she tries to write so her fans can relate to the lyrics, saying "My goal is to never write songs that my fans can't relate to."[102] She parodied her confrontational style of songwriting during her appearance on Saturday Night Live; during her opening monologue, she performed an original song that featured lines such as "You might think I'd bring up Joe, that guy who broke up with me on the phone/ Hey, Joe, I'm doing real well, tonight I'm hosting 'SNL'" referring to her highly publicized relationship with Joe Jonas.[103]

The intensely personal nature of the songs has drawn her attention in the music industry. Swift once said, "I thought people might find them hard to relate to, but it turned out that the more personal my songs were, the more closely people could relate to them."[104] Due to the autobiographical nature of her songs, some fans have researched the songs' origins. Swift once said, "Every single one of the guys that I’ve written songs about has been tracked down on MySpace by my fans."[105] The New York Times described Swift as "one of pop's finest songwriters, country’s foremost pragmatist and more in touch with her inner life than most adults".[106]

Acting

In 2008, Swift made her acting debut in Brad Paisley's music video "Online". In that same year Swift filmed a documentary for MTV entitled MTV's Once Upon a Prom and a documentary with Def Leppard for CMT entitled CMT Crossroads, which premiered on November 7, 2008.[107] Swift collaborated with the Jonas Brothers in their 3D Concert Film, Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience. The film was released on February 27, 2009 in North America and brought in $12.7 million on its opening weekend.[108] Swift made her primetime television acting debut on CBS's CSI: Crime Scene Investigation "Turn, Turn, Turn" as Haley Jones on March 5, 2009 in the U.S. and Canada. The episode was watched by 20.8 million viewers.[109] Swift made a cameo appearance in Kellie Pickler's music video "Best Days of Your Life". Swift also appeared in Hannah Montana: The Movie credited as "woman singing in the barn". The film was released on April 10, 2009 in North America.[110] The television show Dateline NBC showcased an hour on Swift on May 31, 2009. The episode titled Dateline NBC: On Tour With Taylor Swift included scenes from her tour bus, concert footage, and rehearsals.[111] Swift both hosted and performed as the musical guest for the November 7, 2009 episode of Saturday Night Live.[112] In 2010, Swift made her feature film acting debut as Felicia in the film Valentine's Day. For this role she won the Teen Choice Award for Movie Female Breakout.[113] She has been cast to voice the role of Audrey in the animated film The Lorax, set to be released in 2012.[114]

Swift has been featured on the cover of a number of magazines. She has been a cover girl for Blender, for which she was one of two country artists during the magazine’s fifteen year run to be a cover subject.[115] She was included in People's annual "100 Most Beautiful People" 2008, 2009, and 2010 lists.[116][117] Additionally, she was named number fifty-seven on Maxim's sexiest women of 2008, number fifty on the 2009 list[118] and number thirty-one on the 2010 list.[119] CosmoGirl voted Swift as the "2008 Girl of the Year".[120] Swift was named by Rolling Stone magazine as one of "The RS 100: Agents of Change".[121] She was nominated as a candidate for Time's "2009 The Time 100 Finalists" list, which is determined by online voting.[122] People magazine named Swift one of 25 Most Intriguing People of 2009.[123]
Merchandise

Jakks Pacific released a celebrity doll of Swift in late 2008.[124] Swift has been the face of L.E.I. Jeans (Life Energy Intelligence) since 2008.[125] Swift and the L.e.i. Clothing Line made a deal to create a line based on Swift's style of dressing, which will appear in Wal-Mart in the coming months.[126] However, Swift said she does not want to be called a designer. Instead, she says she will inspire the clothing company's dress line based on her own style. "I don't look at it like I'm branching out as a designer... It's not the Taylor Swift designer line."[127] In 2009, Swift became the National Hockey League's newest celebrity spokesperson. She appears in commercials for the Nashville Predators.[128]

In May 2009, Swift filed a lawsuit (kept sealed until August 2010) against numerous sellers of unauthorized counterfeit merchandise bearing her name, likeness, and trademarks, where she demanded a trial by jury, sought a judgement for compensatory damages, punitive damages, three times the actual damages sustained, and statutory damages, and sought for recovery of her attorney's fees and prejudgement interest.[129] Nashville's U.S. District Court granted an injunction and judgment against the sellers, who had been identified at Swift's concerts in several states. The court ordered merchandise seized from the defendants to be destroyed.[130][131][132]
Philanthropy

On September 21, 2007, Swift helped launch a campaign to protect children from online predators.[133] She has teamed up with Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen to combat internet sex crimes.[133] The year-long campaign, in partnership with the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police, will distribute Internet safety information and materials to parents and students across the state.[133] In early 2008, Swift donated the pink Chevy pick-up truck given to her by her record label to the children’s charity, the Victory Junction Gang; in June, 2008, Swift donated all the proceeds from her merchandise sales at the 2008 Country Music Festival to Red Cross, the Nashville Area Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and the National American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.[134]

Swift donated $100,000 to the Red Cross in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to help the victims of the Iowa flood of 2008.[135] Swift has teamed up with Sound Matters to make listeners aware of listening "responsibly".[136] Swift supports @15, a teen-led social change platform underwritten by Best Buy to give teens opportunities to direct the company's philanthropy through the newly-created @15 Fund. Swift's song, "Fifteen", is featured in this campaign.[137] Swift lent her support to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal by joining the lineup at Sydney's Sound Relief concert,[138] reportedly making the biggest contribution of any artist playing at Sound Relief to the Australian Red Cross.[139] Swift donated her prom dress, which raised $1,200 for charity, to DonateMyDress.org.[140] On November 20, 2009 after a live performance on BBC's Children in Need night Swift announced to Sir Terry Wogan she would donate £13,000 of her own money to the cause.[141]

On December 13, Swift's own birthday, she donated $250,000 to various schools around the country which she had either attended or been involved with.[142] Swift has donated a pair of her shoes – a gently-worn pair of black Betsey Johnson heels with her autograph on the sole – to the Wish Upon a Hero Foundation's Hero in Heels fundraiser for auction to raise money to benefit women with cancer.

In response to the May 2010 Tennessee floods, Swift donated $500,000 during a flood relief telethon hosted by WSMV, a Nashville television station.[143]
Personal life

In 2008, Swift was in a relationship with pop singer Joe Jonas, which ended in October of that year.[144] Swift indicated that her heartbreak song, "Forever & Always", on her album Fearless was inspired by Jonas.[144]

In 2009, she referenced the rumors that she was dating actor Taylor Lautner during her monologue while hosting Saturday Night Live.[145] The song "Back to December" off her album Speak Now, which Swift has described as an apology song,[146] has been widely speculated to be dedicated to Lautner. In late 2010, Swift briefly dated actor Jake Gyllenhaal.[149][150][151] They split in early 2011.[152]

Depresi


adalah suatu kondisi medis-psikiatris dan bukan sekedar suatu keadaan sedih, bila kondisi depresi seseorang sampai menyebabkan terganggunya aktivitas sosial sehari-harinya maka hal itu disebut sebagai suatu Gangguan Depresi. Beberapa gejala Gangguan Depresi adalah perasaan sedih, rasa lelah yang berlebihan setelah aktivitas rutin yang biasa, hilang minat dan semangat, malas beraktivitas, dan gangguan pola tidur. Gejalanya tidak disebabkan oleh kondisi medis, efek samping obat, atau aktivitas kehidupan. Kondisi yang cukup parah menyebabkan gangguan klinis yang signifikan atau perusakan dalam keadaan sosial, pekerjaan, atau bidang-bidang penting lainnya.

Antideprasan


merupakan obat-obat yang efektif pada pengobatan depresi, meringankan gejala gangguan depresi, termasuk penyakit psikis yang dibawa sejak lahir.

Antidepresan digunakan untuk tujuan klinis dalam sejumlah indikasi termasuk yang berikut ini :


1 Untuk mengurangi perasaan gelisah, panik, dan stres.
2 Meringankan insomnia
3 Untuk mengurangi kejang / serangan dalam perawatan epilepsi.
4 Menyebabkan relaksasi otot pada kondisi ketegangan otot.
5 Untuk menurunkan tekanan darah dan atau denyut jantung.
6 Untuk meningkatkan mood dan atau meningkatkan kesupelan.






Jenis antidepresan adalah :


1 antidepresan trisiklik (ATS)
2 inhibitor monoamine oksidase (MAOI)
3 inhibitor reuptake serotonin selektif (SSRI)




dan sekelompok antidepresan lain yang tidak termasuk tiga kelas pertama. Indikasi klinis utama untuk penggunaan antidepresan adalah penyakit depresif mayor. Obat ini juga berguna dalam pengobatan gangguan panik, gangguan ansietas (cemas) lainnya dan enuresis pada anak-anak. Berbagai riset terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa obat ini berguna untuk mengatasi gangguan defisit perhatian pada anak-anak dan bulimia serta narkolepsi.



Anti deprasan seperti amitriptilin juga memiliki efek anti kejang. Golongan ini digunakan pada pasien yang depresi dan juga mengalami kecemasan, atau untuk penggunaan jangka lama dimana dikhawatirkan timbul ketergantungan bila menggunakan benzodiazepine. Inhibitor MAO seperti meclobemid sangat berguna pada pasien depresi dengan fobia. Selektif serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) seperti citaloram bisa digunakan untuk serangan panic.



Antidepresan Trisiklik



Obat antidepresan trisiklik


adalah sejenis obat yang digunakan sebagai antidepresan sejak tahun 1950an. Dinamakan trisiklik karena struktur molekulnya mengandung 3 cincin atom.


Mekanisme kerja ATS tampaknya mengatur penggunaan neurotransmiter norepinefrin dan serotonin pada otak. Manfaat Klinis dengan riwayat jantung yang dapat diterima dan gambaran EKG dalam batas normal, terutama bagi individu di atas usia 40 tahun, ATS aman dan efektif dalam pengobatan penyakit depresif akut dan jangka panjang. Reaksi yang merugikan dan pertimbangan keperawatan, perawat harus mampu mengetahui efek samping umum dari anti depresan dan mewaspadai efek toksik serta pengobatannya. Obat ini menyebabkan sedasi dan efek samping antikolinergik, seperti mulut kering, pandangan kabur, konstipasi, retensi urine, hipotensi ortostatik, kebingungan sementara, takikardia, dan fotosensitivitas. Kebanyakan kondisi ini adalah efek samping jangka pendek dan biasa terjadi serta dapat diminimalkan dengan menurunkan dosis obat. Efek samping toksik termasuk kebingungan, konsentrai buruk, halusinasi, delirium, kejang, depresi pernafasan, takikardia, bradikardia, dan koma.



Contoh obat-obatan yang tergolong antidepresan trisiklik diantaranya adalah amitriptyline, amoxapine, imipramine, lofepramine, iprindole, protriptyline, dan trimipramine.



Selektif serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI)



Diduga SSRI meningkatkan 5-HT di celah sinaps, pada awalnya akan meningkatkan aktivitas autoreseptor yang justru menghambat pelepasan 5-HT sehingga kadarnya turun dibanding sebelumnya. Tetapi pada pemberian terus menerus autoreseptor akan mengalami desensitisasi sehingga hasilnya 5-HT akan meningkat dicelah sinaps di area forebrain yang menimbulkan efek terapetik. Contoh obat-obat yang tergolong SSRI diantaranya adalah fluoxetine, paroxetine, dan sertraline.



Monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAO inhibitor)



Dulu MAOIs secara nonselektif mengeblok MAO A dan B isoenzym dan memiliki efek antidepresan yang mirip dengan antidepresan trisiklik. Namun, MAOIs bukan obat pertama terapi antidepresan karena pasien yang menerima harus disertai dengan diet rendah tiramin untuk mencegah krisis hipertensi karena MAOIs membawa resiko interaksi obat dengan obat lain. MAOI tidak bersifat spesifik dan akan menurunkan metabolisme barbiturate, analgesic opioid dan alkohol. Meclobamid menghambat MAO A secara selektif dan reversible, relative aman dengan efek samping utama pusing, insomnia, dan mual. Contoh obat-obat MAOIs diantaranya phenelzine, dan tranylcypromine
